Spaghetti Substitute: SPAGHETTI SQUASH!


This is a delicious and nutritious way to substitute a full carb option when you're craving the twirl of pasta. Just heat a spaghetti squash, slice open, scoop the seeds (fyi: seeds can be toasted and taste like pumpkin seeds!). Scoop out the center which looks stringy. Top exactly how you would your spaghetti dish. 
1 CUP = 42 calories
 vs. 
1 CUP SPAGHETTI = 200 calories
