No Substitute Ever Tasted this good...

Noodles!
That's right, I said it (well, more like wrote it). The unthinkable, unimaginable word. The high calorie, high carb food that has everyone saying eeeek! Well, not anymore! Now you can have your spaghetti, and twirl it too!

Calorie Conscious Pasta Lovers Everywhere...
Meet the new Yin to your Yang:

They're called JFC White Shirataki Noodles and they are ZERO calories per serving. I couldn't believe it either, but, you can read the nutrition label and find out where to purchase them here: asian food grocer (click here!)

Pro: You can actually substitute your pasta dishes with these noodles and they are very filling!
Con: They are a little slimy, and you have to drain the noodles since they come in a water packaging so try not to let that throw you.

  1. I took your advice and went out today and bought the shiratake noodles. You were right about everything you said. Yes they were a bit slithery but they dry easiy with a paper towel. I put some tomatoe sauce and ricotta cheese and heated it together and it was the most amazing satisfying meal. This is now my new pasta substitute with pleasure!!!Thanks hungrychix..can't wait to try more!!!
